American Girl and verymeri have teamed up to STOP BULLYING NOW. Through August 15th, kids can submit their anti-bullying t-shirt ideas to as many ideas as you’d like. In September 15 finalists will be chosen and put in the verymeri voting booth. The final winning design will be launched at American Girl Place at The Grove on October 3rd. Sammi Hanratty and other American Girl stars will be on hand to sign tees and spread your message. 20% of sales will go to Mattel Children’s Hospital.

verymeri and Amazing Kids launched our second annual t-shirt design contest to Launch Kids Dreams at Brentwood Farmers Market. We had a great turnout and heard some amazing ideas from the kids. Come out again this Sunday and let us know about your dream. You could be the next kid to be catapulted into stardom like Katie Stagliano, last years winner.
Dahlia, age 10, is the super amazing designer of the hip t-shirt California Roll Girl. We absolutely love her designer and love Dahlia. Check out this video interview we did with Dahlia. You can pick up one of her cool t-shirts here. Mark Baskett is one of Dahlia’s many fans.

Sammi Hanratty, star of the upcoming Chrissa American Girl movie, showed up at her latest book signing wearing her favorite verymeri tee, Be Buddies, Not Bullies. It was so great to see all the girls lining up with their American Girl dolls, waiting for autographs and photos. What a truly fantastic message for a role model like Sammi to spread. Way to go Sammi!
We ran into the Baio family recently and talked about a fundraiser for their great charity The Bailey Baio Angel Foundation. Our LOVE tee was the perfect fit for little Bailey.

verymeri has been hanging out at The Grove a lot lately. First we did a design contest for Baby & Tween Celebration LA to raise money for Autism. Then we did a contest for American Girl’s Stop the Bullying Day. We thought you’d like to see some photos and videos of what our events look like and how much fun the kids have. Here are kids designing tees and submitting them to verymeri. It’s that simple. Some of our contests are for a specific charity or school, others are for our online contests.
